| Site Preparation Structures under 100 square feet We can provide patio blocks (2” x 8” x 16”) to level the structure if the land is reasonably level. Or it can be prepared as described below. ■Site preparation services are offered through highly qualified subcontractors. ■They will remove 4” to 6” of topsoil where you want the shed. The pad area will be prepared the size of the shed, plus 12” on all sides for standard sheds, or 18” on all sides for New England series sheds. ■They will then fill the area with ¾” clean crushed stone. ■The stone pad is laser-leveled. |

| Because the stone is level with the surrounding land, any problems with stone spreading into the grass will be minimal. You may wish to prepare the site yourself or hire your own subcontractor. If you do, follow the procedure listed above. The most important part is that the pad be level. For sites we do not prepare, we cannot guarantee the proper function of doors, etc. Due to varying local regulations, we recommend you contact your local town hall to ensure compliance. Site preparation costs listed are estimates only based on a site visit. Site prep is only possible if it is accessible with a Bobcat. Location, soil conditions, rocks, stumps, slopes, and drainage issues all need to be considered. For exact quote, ask for a site visit. Some area regulations do not permit stone pads of this type. Other types of preparation work can also be done, such as a full foundation, slab, sonotubes, or pressure treated pilings. Ask a sales person for more details. |
